Damlapınar HEPP
Damlapınar HEPP is built on Göksu river in Göksu basin within the boundaries of Kazımkarabekir, a district of Karaman. It is a Run-of-River type hydropower plant that generates power by using the water turbo-pumped from Göksu plant at its upper reach. It consists of a power plant building, regulator structure, transmission tunnel and canal, head pond and pressure conduit pipes. The plant with an installed power of 16.60 MW (2*8.30MW) is equipped with 2 vertical Francis turbines and with a gross head of 80,00 meters. Its total flow rate is 24 m³ per second.
Kepezkaya HEPP
Kepezkaya HEPP is built on Göksu river in Göksu basin within the boundaries of Bucakkışla, a village of Karaman. It is a Run-of-River type hydropower plant that generates power by using the water turbo-pumped from Damlapınar plant at its upper reach. It consists of a power plant building, regulator structure, transmission tunnel and canal, head pond and pressure conduit pipes. The plant with an installed power of 28.80 MW (2*14.40MW) is equipped with 2 vertical Francis turbines and with a net head of 81,47 meters. Its total flow rate is 40 m³ per second.
